Privacy Notice on the Processing of Personal Data
This English version is provided for information. The Turkish KVKK Aydınlatma Metni is the governing text; if the two differ, the Turkish version prevails.
This notice is issued under Article 10 of Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. It explains how we process your personal data when you visit unitic.co and contact us through the site's contact form or by e-mail.
1. Data controller
Your personal data is processed by UNİTİC İNOVASYON EĞİTİM ve PAZARLAMA LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ ("UNITIC.CO") as the data controller.

Please do not share special categories of personal data, such as health, religion or ethnic origin, in your message.
3. Purposes of processing
- To receive and assess your request and get back to you,
- To route your request to the group company that fits your needs (Unitic Solutions, Unitic Technology, Unitic Marketing or Unitic Growth),
- To hold pre-contract discussions and prepare offers for a possible collaboration,
- If you give your permission, to send you news and content about our group,
- To keep the website secure and to meet our legal obligations.
4. How we collect data and the legal grounds
Your personal data is collected electronically, partly by automated means, when you fill in the contact form on unitic.co and the form summary is sent to [email protected] through your e-mail application, when you e-mail us directly, and when you visit the site.
- Answering your request and pre-contract discussions: KVKK Art. 5/2-c, "directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract",
- Routing the request to the relevant group company and keeping records of communications: KVKK Art. 5/2-f, "legitimate interest of the data controller",
- Site security and legal obligations: KVKK Art. 5/2-ç, "compliance with a legal obligation", and Art. 5/2-f,
- Sending news and content: your explicit consent under KVKK Art. 5/1, given by ticking the relevant box in the form. Commercial electronic messages are also sent in line with Law No. 6563 and the related regulation.
5. Transfers
Limited to the purposes above and only as far as necessary, your personal data may be transferred to:
- Our group companies that will handle your request (Unitic Solutions, Unitic Technology, Unitic Marketing, Unitic Growth),
- Our infrastructure providers: e-mail (Google Workspace), content delivery and security (Cloudflare), server hosting, and the providers that serve the website's fonts and libraries (Google Fonts, jsDelivr),
- Authorised public authorities, when they request it.
As some of these providers' servers are located outside Türkiye, transfers abroad are carried out in line with the conditions set out in KVKK Art. 9, including standard contracts.
6. Retention
Personal data about your request is kept for 2 (two) years from the date of our last contact; if a collaboration begins, the periods set by the applicable legislation apply. At the end of the period, your data is deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Your news permission remains valid until you withdraw it.
7. Your rights under KVKK Art. 11
By applying to the data controller, you have the right to:
- Learn whether your personal data is processed,
- Request information about the processing if it has been processed,
- Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with that purpose,
- Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to whom it has been transferred,
- Request correction if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
- Request deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK Art. 7,
- Request that corrections, deletions and destructions be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred,
- Object to a result against you arising from the analysis of the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
- Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing.
You can withdraw the explicit consent you gave (news permission) at any time.
8. How to apply
In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, you can send requests about your rights, together with information that identifies you, by e-mail to [email protected] or in writing to the address above. Your application will be concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest, depending on the nature of the request; if the process involves an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
